アメリカ拠点のリイシュー専門レーベル「Light in the Attic」が、以前リリースされた日本のシティポップのコンピレーションアルバムに続く、第2弾コンピ『Pacific Breeze 2: Japanese City Pop, AOR & Boogie 1972-1986』をリリースする。
同作はデジタル、カセット、CD、2枚組LPで3/15にリリース。選曲はVetiverのAndy Cabic、dublabのMark “Frosty” McNeillが担当。カバーアートは日本のイラストレーターで前作も担当した永井博が手がける。大瀧詠一、杏里、菊池桃子、大橋純子＆美乃家セントラル・ステイションらの楽曲など全16曲を収録。収録曲の多くは日本以外でリイシューされるのは初となる曲が多いものになっている。

Animated album art by @12inchmotion Now available for preorders, Pacific Breeze 2 will be released May 15, 2020 on CD, double LP, Cassette Tape and a digital EP featuring highlights from the album.
