現地時間12/2にニューヨーク・ロングビーチにて先月死亡したLil Peep（リル・ピープ）の追悼式が行われた。追悼式は以前からTwitterなどで告知されており、当日はLil Peepの親族、友人、ファンが参加。その模様はライブストリーミングされた。

👉Lil Peepに影響を与えていたGood Charlotte
また追悼式ではLil Peepが生前影響を受けていたというバンドのGood Charlotte（グッド・シャーロット）がアルバム『Come Over When You’re Sober, Pt. 1』収録曲でLil Peepの人気曲として知られる「Awful Things」をカバーする動画が公開。現在はGood CharlotteのYouTubeチャンネルにて公式動画として公開されている。
またそのことについてLil PeepのコラボレーターでプロデューサーのNedarbは「お前ら気づいているか、Good Charlotteが追悼式でLil Peepの曲をカバーしてるなんてあいつが知ったらパンツにクソもらすぜ!」とTweet。それに答える形でGood CharlotteのJoel Madden（ジョエル・マッデン）もLil Peepの永遠のファンだとTweetしている。
