渋谷、新宿二丁目エリアに現れたモンスタークィアパーティ「FETCH」が3月16日に渋谷R Loungeにて開催される。
intoxxy、MELEETIME、MUNÉO、クィアDJ3名による、クィアアンダーグラウンドミュージックの追求は、東京のシーンの未開の音場を切り開いている。そして今回、クィア・ラップの第一人者 Mykki Blancoの登壇というビッグニュースと、このパーティとの絶妙なセッションへの期待に、歓喜と興奮を禁じ得ない。
Kanye West、Björk、Julian Casablancus (The Strokes) らとの共演や、MadonnaのMVに登場するなど、クィア・ラップ・シーンをコミュニティ音楽からムーヴメントへと拡大させたMykki Blanco。前作前々作のアルバムのプロデュースにFaltyDLやHudson Mohawkeを迎えたように、生楽器とエレクトロニクスが共存するサウンドは卓越しており、ヒップホップを軸に、ファンクやハウスの要素が混ざり合う、現代ポップからさらに独立した音楽が展開される。非現実と超現実が別の次元で交差する、リアルな夢をみるような不思議な感覚に、世界中が魅了されている。今回はDJ+ライブのスペシャルなセットでの登場だ。
UKの重要レーベルNight Slugsで働いた経験をもつDJ Poipoiや、日本を代表するヴォーギングダンサーKoppi MizrahiのDJセット、強靭なグルーヴを備えるドラァグクイーンでDJのMAXIM、そして、主催のintoxxyとMELEETIMEによるテクノやベース、ジャージークラブからゲットーテックまでを縦横に走る電気的なイマジネーションの伝達、さらに、Sera ToninやMeringueといったネオタイプのクイーンによって、ハイエナジーかつアンリアルなフロアが描かれる。

FETCH, a queer party based in Shibuya & Shinjuku Ni-chome area created by intoxxy, MELEETIME & MUNÉO is welcoming Mykki Blanco, a queer music pioneer who has been pushing the boundaries of hip hop by creating and merging diverse and experimental elements, whilst forging a uniquely subversive path within a genre historically entangled with misogyny, homophobia, transphobia, etc.
While Mykki has been recognized as a trailblazer in the ‘queer-rap’ sub genre, their more recent releases centers around a significant evolution towards eradicating the genre categories and mashing them to create a more personal approach to music, which works as a vehicle that showcases their journey of forming their personal self-identity. Mykki’s DJ and Live set will invite you to a unique experience
Mykki Blanco is joined by local acts such as DJ POIPOI, a member of the legendary music label Night Slugs in London and a queer trailblazing DJ, Koppi Mizrahi, a legendary icon who is leading the ballroom scene in Japan and Asia and also known for their unique producing style under the NYC label Qween Beat, MAXIM, an irreplaceable Drag Queen DJ who is known for their eclectic taste in House and Techno, as well as FETCH organizers intoxxy and MELEETIME, who are both skilled in their ranging from Techno, Bass to Jersey Club and Ghettotech. Also, creative and energetic drag performances by Sera Tonin and Meringue are going to make the floor more vibrant and colorful.
